Our piano was recently tuned. We have had guests at the estate who are very good pianists and they are all happily surprised at the rich sound of the Steinway in our music room and the pleasure of playing on vacation. It’s hard for me to write about the beauty and the pleasure I find in the sound of good live music, so I looked to other writers and found this quote that expresses the best musical moments I have experienced:
