We had a frost one night a few weeks ago and last week decided we were ready to turn on the water to the fountain. After some fresh blue paint on the bottom of the fountain pool, and some connecting of the water jets, a few days ago we started the fountain again. I love sitting on the verandah and listening to the sound of the fountain. I love seeing it up and running! It’s a mark of the changing seasons for me, and signifies the beginning of what I love about summer weather- flowers coming up in the gardens, more time outside, birds singing in the morning, and warm weather.
