<p>On every weekend the estate is used, whether it&#8217;s a destination wedding, a family vacation, a retreat or a concert, people find their way to the Library, which is just off the foyer, to play board games, read by the fire, or enjoy a conversation.  Sometimes they listen to the tube-amplified <a href="http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/" target="_blank">MacIntosh</a> radio with <a href="http://www.audioresearch.com/" target="_blank">AudioResearch</a> amps on <a href="http://www.audiophysic.de/" target="_blank">AudioPhysic</a> speakers, sitting in the soft leather chairs and sometimes they just watch their child enjoy himself.  Photo by <a href="www.Konradbrattke.com" target="_blank">Konrad Brattke</a></p>

<p>It’s funny what goes unnoticed while working on events or hosting guests at the estate. As I entered the library today I saw this marvelous chess set. I just started to think of all the guests that have been here and used it. One family brought a timer and the brothers were up late playing.<span> </span>I’m sure there have been many other late night games…. I think of the guests enjoying ping-pong, foosball, puzzles, and board games, and long conversations with their families and friends. I can imagine it now…a cool summer night in the library, playing chess.<span><br />
